Lesson: Military Time Competency Objectives: The ad The adult learner will convert from civilian to military time. The adult learner will convert from military to civilian time. Suggested Criteria for Success: The learner will convert time successfully. The primary purpose of military time system is to prevent confusion between A.M. and P.M. Aside from the armed forces, military time is being implemented by train, bus, ships, airplanes and other entities to supply accurate schedule. (elmo/handout/worksheet/military time bingo/homework) Thursday Military Time Drill: We will continue with Military Time Conversion. We will review homework conversion worksheet and students will be called upon to convert Military Time to Civilian Time as well as convert Civilian Time to Military Time. (Homework assignment on Video Camera Manual) Friday Students will be given Assessment #4/Level 4 Test. We will watch the Filmmaking Techniques videos that best represent the techniques from the assignment. We will discuss how these techniques can be used to enhance future recordings.
