MONDAY, TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY - MEET IN ROOM 105
Monday:
Today you will work on an 'outline' for your Movie Review on 'Swing Kids'. For the first 15 minutes of class, break out into groups of 4-6 and discuss the movie. Discuss the following: Plot; Story Development; Music Score; Casting/Acting; Directing; Wardrobe; etc. Write down 2 critiques (pick any 2 aspects) to share with the class. Follow up with a 5-10 minute large group discussion where each group shares their notes. Finally, spend the las 25-30 minutes filling out your outlines. PLEASE PAY CLOSE ATTENTION WHAT IS ASKED IN EACH SECTION OF THE OUTLINE AND PROVIDE THE SPECIFIED AMOUNT OF INFORMATION REQUIRED. Hand in at end of hour,
Tuesday
Begin to write your creative Movie Review. Using your ELA handout; your 'How to write a Movie Review Handout; and your Outline (passed back at beginning of the hour). Please note: There is no required length to your review, however, be sure to include all elements listed in the rubric and refer to your 'How To' handout.
Wednesday
Continue to write your creative Movie Review. Using your ELA handout; your 'How to write a Movie Review Handout; and your Outline (passed back at beginning of the hour).
