(Homework: You are to look up a "review" on a Movie of your choice and print it out. Highlight the following: The critics opinion as to why you shoud or should not watch this movie; the plot summary; one example where the critic talks specifically about the lead character(s); The conclusion about the movie and the critic's felling about it.)
Thursday: Movie Review (1)Discuss review homework citing clear examples of critics approach. (2) (Effective Intro Exercise)Writing Assignment due at end of the hour.
Friday: Quiz on "Movie Review" criteria. (quiz will be based off of the handout and lecture on Movie Reviews.
